Marshall of Cambridge has been celebrating two prestigious business awards, announced on consecutive evenings in Cambridge.

First, on Wednesday 22nd March, Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group was presented with the Engineering Excellence Award at the Business Weekly Awards ceremony held at Queens’ College. In the citation for this award, the judges noted: “Marshall ADG is respected worldwide for its expertise in civil, military and commercial aircraft and defence solutions. It specialises in the conversion, modification, maintenance and support of aircraft and defence solutions in the air, on land and at sea. Its technology protects troops on the front line in global engagements and includes state of the art medical facilities in often hostile environments.”

Then on Thursday 23rd March, Sir Michael Marshall, president of Marshall of Cambridge, was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Cambridge News Business Excellence Awards ceremony at King’s College. In their citation, the judges recognised the significant contribution Sir Michael has made to the Marshall Group, and to Cambridge, over more than 60 years before he stood down from the board at the end of 2016.
